Decodent Dezigns started in 2002 as a local graphic design/invitation and card company [Victoria + Vancouver BC], but soon expanded with an on-line presence, receiving numerous interests from people in the United States, England and even Europe and Australia. In 2005 the invitation and card side of the company went strictly on-line, while the graphic design side, stayed local.

The invitation side of things came as a result of my love for cards, paper and working with Art Deco and other modern designs. Originally the idea was to infuse invitations with the art deco feel, but as the company evolved, so did my designs and the demand for what I call "Modern Art Deco". I have recreated and modernized the themes and illustrations of the late 1800's [Arts & Crafts Movement/Art Nouveau], 1920's thru to the 1940's [... the Charleston, Flappers, the Great Gatsby, Prohibition, Speakeasy Clubs, the Depression, Hollywood's first + glamerous stars, Big Band, Frank Lloyd Wright, Empire State and Chrysler Buildings etc etc ...] to be used on wedding or other event invitations, thank you / greeting cards and stationery.

Decodent Designs is located in beautiful Victoria, BC Canada. About 3 hours north of Seattle, Washington USA. I have the absolute priviledge of working from home, while raising our now 2 year old daughter.

About Me

With a bachelors degree in Fine Arts and over 20 years as a graphic designer and illustrator; I bring not only a unique blend of skills and experience, but also my passion for meeting and working with people!

I have been told some of my best qualities are my sincere interest and ability to problem solve; my capacity to really listen; my versatility in delivering art in almost any medium, and being able to capture an idea and turn it into an image. AND ... I love what I do!!
